Madison, Wis. – As the 2016-17 collegiate athletic season will soon kick off, Cher-Make Sausage Company has been named a corporate partner of the Badgers as announced today by University of Wisconsin Athletics and its multimedia rights holder, Learfield’s Badger Sports Properties.
The multi-year relationship between UW and Cher-Make Sausage will be highlighted by the Manitowoc, Wis.-based brand serving its products for the university’s major sports venues including Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center. Cher-Make Sausage, authentic sausage maker since 1928, was selected by Athletics and its concessionaire Levy Restaurants when they presented their naturally smoked beef hot dogs, as well as their signature natural casing wieners. Throughout the partnership term, Cher-Make will receive other corporate partner benefits and receive increased exposure through the UW Badgers’ affinity.
According to UW Athletics’ Associate Athletic Director for Business Development Chris McIntosh, “Creating an optimum game day experience for Badger fans is critical to us, and we’re excited to introduce Cher-Make as our premium hot dog offering. We believe our fans will enjoy the high-quality products from a company right here in Wisconsin, and we can’t wait for the season to start.”
