HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth Athletics announced today an extended partnership with Ledyard National Bank over a five-year term, through the 2020-21 academic year. Highlighting the renewed relationship is Ledyard adopting the designation as the “Official Financial Partner” of Dartmouth Athletics and the introduction of a co-branded Visa debit card for Big Green alumni, fans and the community.

“Ledyard National Bank is very proud of our longstanding relationship with Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Athletics — and we’re particularly excited about how it’s grown over the years, including being named the ‘Official Financial Partner of Dartmouth Athletics,’” said Ledyard National Bank Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Jeffrey Marks. “We’ve always felt very close to the Dartmouth community — having been founded by several members of the college — making this partnership a natural fit with our core values and goals.”

In addition to serving as Dartmouth Athletics’ exclusive provider of the new co-branded debit card, the financial institution will continue to title sponsor the Ledyard Classic, held annually at the end of the year and celebrating nearly three decades of collegiate hockey competition. All aspects of the Ledyard relationship are overseen by Learfield’s Big Green Sports Properties, athletics multimedia rightsholder for Dartmouth College.

“We’re extremely grateful for the ongoing support from our corporate partner family, and we couldn’t be more pleased to continue aligning with Ledyard National Bank, a truly exceptional hometown company with deep ties to our Dartmouth community,” said Director of Athletics and Recreation Harry Sheehy. “By launching a co-branded debit card, we are providing yet another way for Big Green fans to feel connected. We look forward to continuing to enhance our relationship with Ledyard National Bank.”
