DANBURY, Conn. – The upcoming ECAC Hall of Fame Gala & Induction Ceremony on April 28 will feature new league-wide corporate partner, Qualite Sports Lighting, which also will present the ECAC Hall of Fame “Spotlights”. The announcement was made on Friday by the conference’s President/CEO Dan Coonan and its rights partner, Learfield’s ECAC Sports Properties.

Qualite, the Hillside, Michigan-based sports lighting experts, will be involved with the ECAC throughout the year and receive ongoing digital visibility on ECACSports.com, as well as have interaction with league members through ECAC-issued newsletters and event engagement. As a complement to its corporate partnership, Qualite will sponsor the “Spotlight” features and graphic introductions for each of the 10 ECAC Hall of Fame inductees for the Class of 2017. Beginning next week, the respective inductee spotlights will be communicated thoroughly by the conference office, on social media, and at the ceremony and gala next month held at the Matrix Conference and Banquet Center at 6 p.m. in Danbury.

“We understand what it takes to be a winner, and we are thrilled to be able to have the opportunity to spotlight and support exceptional student-athletes in the ECAC,” said Qualite Sports Lighting Owner Eric Boorom.

Qualite was recognized as an Edison Awards finalist for its revolutionary LED lighting system – the Q-LED GameChanger System™ — the first high-performance sports lighting system designed for all sports venues, from youth to professional sports stadiums with a focus on quality connectivity and functionality at affordable pricing.

“This partnership with the ECAC is a great match up. We fully support recognizing hard work, passion and dedication,” said Ashley Huscio, Program Manager for Qualite, which has been the sports lighting partner for high schools, colleges, parks and recreation departments, and minor and major league professional sports franchises for more than 30 years.

“The ECAC is pleased to announce this collaboration with Qualite Sports Lighting,” said ECAC President/CEO Dan Coonan. “We are delighted to be associated with such an innovative, cutting edge company and look forward to connecting them with our membership.”
