Cornerstone Home Lending, Inc. Partnership encompasses multiple sports, Hometown Hero entitlement for Rams Football

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — As a company that places significant value in sense of community, Cornerstone Home Lending, Inc., enters into a distinct relationship with Colorado State this fall, as announced today by the university and its athletics multimedia rights holder, Learfield’s Rams Sports Properties.

Cornerstone’s four-year commitment to CSU’s student-athletes, campus community and athletics programming will be highlighted by entitlement of the university’s first-ever “Hometown Hero” campaign. This invaluable program recognizes deserving individuals throughout the Rams’ football season in which each home game will pay tribute to a local citizen and/or everyday “hero” during an on-field presentation at halftime. The comprehensive details about how fans can nominate a Hero can be found on the CSU Athletics’ official website at this link.

“At Cornerstone, our core mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of others, and supporting our local heroes is one more way we can put some good into the world,” said Cornerstone Home Lending Division President Gene Humphries. “When we sponsor Colorado State’s `Hometown Hero,’ we’re really thanking that individual for protecting and strengthening our community — which is home to us all.”

Complementing CSU’s new Hometown Hero promotion during the football season will be a distinct Facebook campaign created specifically for Rams fans by social media agency Think Social. All elements of the Hometown Hero campaign, along with the weekly Hero being awarded two game tickets and other prizes, are fully funded by Cornerstone.
Other aspects of Cornerstone Home Lending’s involvement with the Rams over the next four years include on-site activation at men’s basketball games and in-venue digital signage at select times during volleyball and basketball seasons.

Colorado-State1“We can’t ever communicate enough the appreciation we have for these area businesses that commit their resources and time to supporting the Rams,” said Colorado State Director of Athletics Joe Parker. “We’re grateful to Cornerstone for investing in the Hometown Hero promotion, which we know will be tremendous, and we’re looking forward to honoring the exceptional people in our immediate community on game day.”
