WEST POINT, N.Y. — Army West Point Athletics and its athletics multimedia rights holder, Learfield’s Army West Point Sports Properties, announced today a new three-year partnership with AM570 theMission WMCA to serve as the new home for Army football in New York City beginning with the 2016-17 football season.

WMCA-AM will play host to Army football broadcasts through the 2018-19 season, with games airing on WMCA 570AM. A weekly Army football minute will air on WNYM AM 970TheAnswer on Piscopo in the Morning and an Army season preview show will air on both WMCA 570AM and WNYM AM970TheAnswer.

“We are looking forward to partnering with AM570 WMCA to deliver the best quality of our football broadcasts in the City,” Army West Point Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan said. “WMCA is a respected name in the industry and working with them will provide a valuable product for our fans that are not able to attend games throughout the season.”

Both stations will feature ticket listener giveaway promotions periodically throughout the length of the partnership.
