Fans to Gain Added Coverage of Women’s Basketball, Baseball

DUBUQUE, Iowa University of Iowa fans living in Dubuque soon will turn to Q 107.5 FM for all things black and gold as WDBQ-FM officially becomes the Hawkeyes’ new radio affiliate through the 2020-21 athletic season.

The five-year agreement with Townsquare Media of Dubuque kicks off with fall football and was overseen by Learfield’s Hawkeye Sports Properties, University of Iowa Athletics’ exclusive multimedia rights holder. In addition to carrying complete football and men’s basketball game coverage, the radio partnership with WDBQ-FM now ensures fans can listen to Iowa baseball and women’s basketball games. Seasonal coaches’ shows and daily shows also will be staples on WDBQ-FM, as well as regular on-air promotion and digital synergies between Myq1075.com and HawkeyeSports.com.
