PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics today announced a multiyear partnership with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions (IMGLTS) to lead all new and renewal ticket sales initiatives.

IMGLTS, a joint venture between IMG College and Learfield, now represents 35 collegiate partners and generated more than $105 million worth of ticket sales and fundraising revenue in 2015.

“Providing our fans exceptional customer service is a top priority,” said Director of Athletics Patrick Hobbs. “Innovative engagement with consumers is essential to building success in the Big Ten. IMGLTS offers the necessary technology and analytics to grow ticket revenues in our challenging marketplace. We look forward to a very productive partnership.”

IMG-TICKETING350IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions sells more tickets to university athletic events than any other outbound ticket sales company. IMGLTS recently announced partnerships with two conferences, the Big Ten and Mountain West.

“As the ticketing industry continues to evolve, we are proud another Power 5 athletic department has recognized IMGLTS as the partner for architecting the best setup integrating analytics, ticket sales, service, technology and results,” said Rob Sine, President of IMG Learfield Ticketing Solutions. “Even as schools are battling downward trends in season ticket sales, IMGLTS sold more than 60,000 new football season tickets in 2015, representing a 38 percent increase over prior year results.”

The IMG Learfield Ticket Sales Department will be based on campus at Rutgers, including a department dedicated exclusively to retention and analytics. The addition of Rutgers brings the number of Big Ten partners for IMGLTS to four with Penn State, Illinois and the Conference itself.
