ED CHAMBERLAIN NAMED GENERAL MANAGER FOR LEARFIELD’S BIG GREEN SPORTS PROPERTIES AT DARTMOUTH

HANOVER, N.H. – Learfield announced today that Ed Chamberlain has been named general manager for its Big Green Sports Properties team supporting Dartmouth College, which recently outsourced its athletic multimedia rights for the first time in school history. Learfield was selected as Dartmouth’s rights partner, joining Brown and Penn as other Ivy League schools represented by the collegiate marketer.

He will work alongside the athletic administration on a daily basis, and he officially starts on Monday, Feb. 15.

Chamberlain boasts nearly 15 years of experience in the hockey arena, holding sales and marketing and senior-level front office positions throughout his career for numerous NHL and AHL teams including the Nashville Predators, Florida Panthers, San Antonio Rampage, Iowa Stars Hockey Club and Texas Tornado Hockey Club. He founded E&E Consulting LLC in 2011 which continues to provide consultation in areas of business operations and sales and marketing to teams in the American Hockey League, East Coast Hockey League and the USHL, as well as minor league baseball. Most recently, Chamberlain served as president of the USHL’s Madison Capitals and vice president of corporate partnerships and broadcasting for the Iowa Wild (AHL affiliate for NHL’s Minnesota Wild).

In addition, Chamberlain served as vice president of sales and marketing/operations for the Hamilton Bulldogs, which increased revenues and attendance by 20 percent in just one year under his leadership. He also was responsible for creating and overseeing the AHL Hamilton Outdoor Classic where a record 20,564 fans watched the Bulldogs play the Toronto Marlies.
