In partnership with Learfield Sports, the exclusive multimedia rights holder for two of the participating schools in the event – Temple University and University of Pennsylvania, Office Depot DSC_3755[1]OfficeMax hosted the Philadelphia Learfield Corporate Hospitality event.

Prior to tipoff, World Café Live opened up its doors to corporate partners from Temple University, University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University, three schools within the Philadelphia area all represented by Learfield Sports. The event started at 5 p.m. prior to the Temple versus LaSalle game, and wrapped up around 8 p.m. just before the Penn versus St. Joseph’s tipoff.

“We felt like this event was a great opportunity to get all of the corporate partners together and not only support the Big 5 Doubleheader, but each other,” said Office Depot OfficeMax Philadelphia District Sales Manager Christine Maguire. “Hosting an event around a historic sporting event like the Big 5 Doubleheader allows time in front of other corporate partners while enjoying the electric atmosphere that comes with college basketball.”

“We (Learfield Sports) work with three major universities in the Philadelphia area, and many times are working with the same partners at each property. We felt that it made sense to host an event that brought all of these people together who consistently support these universities and are thankful Office Depot OfficeMax stepped up to present the event,” said Penn Quakers Sports Properties General Manager Eric Taylor. Penn Quakers Sports Properties is Learfield’s dedicated team representing the Penn Quakers athletic multimedia rights.
