HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth College will outsource its comprehensive athletic multimedia rights for the first time in school history, electing to partner with Learfield Sports, which represents 120 collegiate properties nationwide, including Brown University and the University of Pennsylvania in the Ivy League.

Dartmouth (640x396)The multi-year partnership is effective immediately, and Learfield will hire a general manager to oversee the establishment of “Big Green Sports Properties” to work alongside the athletic administration on a daily basis. This local Learfield team – dedicated solely to Dartmouth Athletics – will manage the Big Green’s corporate sponsorship endeavors including venue signage, promotions, radio advertising and ads on DartmouthSports.com.

In addition to the initiatives of Big Green Sports Properties, Dartmouth Athletics will benefit from the efforts of Learfield’s national sales team, which builds larger platforms across multiple collegiate properties with corporate America. In New England, Learfield represents the University of Vermont, University of New Hampshire, University of Maine, University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of Rhode Island, Providence College and Brown University.
