ST. LOUIS, Mo. – MVC Sports Properties, a property of Learfield Sports and rights partner to the Missouri Valley Conference, played host to the inaugural MVC Corporate Partner Symposium on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015.

Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis was host site for the event, which took place from 4 – 6 p.m. featuring all corporate sponsors supporting the Conference. Learfield Sports’ Senior Vice President Chris Sanders and Vice President-Central Region Tom Stevens opened the event with an overview of Learfield’s 40-year history and depth in the collegiate marketplace.

Two corporate partners specifically addressed the crowd and shared their success stories of supporting the league and its member institutions: Frank D’Antonio, president of Coventry Health Care, an Aetna Company; and John Althoff, sponsorship coordinator of State Farm. MVC Commissioner Doug Elgin closed out the evening Symposium.MVC 1

Learfield Sports manages the multimedia rights and sponsorship for more than 100 collegiate properties nationwide and has individual rights agreements with MVC members Bradley, Indiana State, Missouri State, Northern Iowa and Southern Illinois. In addition to Missouri Valley, Learfield also shares conference relationships with the Big Ten, Mountain West, Patriot League, ECAC, CAA and Big West.
