Alabama softball can be heard locally on FM 95.3 The Bear

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Crimson Tide Sports Marketing and Learfield Sports has tabbed Tom Canterbury as the play-by-play voice for Alabama softball for the 2015 season. Canterbury has covered Alabama softball as part of WVUA-FM and Sports Radio 1420 The Tusk in previous years and is currently the promotions director for iHeart Media in Tuscaloosa. He is also part of the stats crew for UA football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and serves as public address announcer for Alabama soccer.CTSMlogo

Alabama softball is carried locally on FM 95.3 The Bear and is also streamed online through their website, 953thebear.com. Alabama’s season opener will be on Thursday, February 5 in Mobile as the Tide takes on South Alabama before heading to Gulf Shores for the Sand Dollar Classic that weekend.
