LARAMIE, Wyo. – Learfield Sports recently appointed Brad Poe general manager for its University of Wyoming Sports Properties (UWSP) entity, the multimedia rights holder for University of Wyoming Athletics.

Poe comes to Laramie having previously served as general manager for two other Learfield partner schools. Most recently, he spent nearly three years in Brookings, S.D., where he established Learfield Sports’ Jackrabbit Sports Properties concurrent with the rights holder’s new partnership with South Dakota State University Athletics. Before that, he was general manager for Spartan Sports Properties, Learfield Sports’ property supporting San Jose State. Poe also served nearly three years as an account executive with Learfield Sports’ Idaho Vandal Sports Properties, and as director of sponsorships for the Spokane Indians Baseball Club, a Class A short-season affiliate of the MLB Texas Rangers.

“Brad brings invaluable experience to our Wyoming property, and we’re pleased to have him here leading the team and working closely with Tom Burman and the entire athletics administration,” said Learfield Sports’ Senior Vice President Tim Cline. “Our outgoing GM, Jared Newland, has done a superb job here over the years and know he will continue to do great work as we’ve asked him to establish our new Mountain West Sports Properties office.”

In addition to Wyoming, Learfield Sports manages multimedia rights for more than 50 collegiate institutions and associations and titles the prestigious Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup. The company’s multimedia rights encompass numerous content distribution platforms to deliver the passion of college athletics across radio, television and digital networks to fans globally.
