SAN DIEGO – Learfield Sports has named Mike Hollister associate general manager for its Aztec Sports Properties entity, which manages the comprehensive multimedia rights for San Diego State Athletics.

Hollister comes to the Aztecs with 15 years of sports marketing and sponsorship experience with the Las Vegas 51s Baseball Team, the AAA – Affiliate of MLB’s New York Mets. Most recently he served seven years as the team’s vice president, sales and activation, and before that, spent two years as director of corporate sales and service/game entertainment. He also was involved with ticket sales, game-day operations and general marketing for the team soon after graduating from Bowling Green State University.

Hollister will work closely with Aztec Sports Properties’ General Manager Jeff Bolitho and the entire athletic administration to ensure all aspects of the Learfield Sports-SDSU partnership are fulfilled.
