With the turn of the New Year, Learfield Sports extends all the best to its partner schools still yet to play in the 2012-13 college bowl games: K-State (v. Oregon in the Tostios Fiesta Bowl on Thursday, Jan. 3); Texas A&M and Oklahoma (in the AT&T Cotton Bowl on Friday, Jan. 4); and Alabama (playing Notre Dame in the venerable BCS National Championship on Monday, Jan. 7). A victory on Monday night would enable Alabama to claim title to the first back-to-back consensus national champion in college football since Nebraska in 1994-95, as well as become the first school to win three national titles in the BCS era.

A total of 26 Learfield Sports’ partner schools made bowl appearances this season, in which eight of the match ups have featured two of our partner schools vying for the same Bowl trophy. Congratulations again to all of these programs as another exciting season comes to a close.
