Outsourced Ticketing Business Has Driven More than $33 Million in Ticket-Related Revenue to Schools
IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions has brought on a new group of general managers leading efforts to enhance athletic ticket sales for a host of new school partners.
Now with 22 partners, IMG Learfield Ticketing Solutions sells more tickets to university athletic events than any other outsource ticket sales company. Five of these schools have passed the $1 million mark in additional ticket revenues, and two, Tennessee and Penn State – have surpassed $3 million in new revenue. Since IMG entered the ticketing business on January 1, 2011, the ticketing business has generated $33.6 million in ticket revenues to schools.
The new general managers are:
- Wes England, Auburn University: Wes was most recently Director of Inside Sales at the Florida Panthers. England spent eight years with the NHL club in several sales management roles.
- Carly Venick, NC State: Venick was previously Inside Sales Manager with Pacers Sports and Entertainment (Indiana Pacers NBA, Indiana Fever WNBA).
- Zach Ziler, University of Arkansas: Ziler, a graduate of the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton College of Business, most recently served as VP of Sales and Fan Relations with the minor league baseball franchise Normal Cornbelters (Normal, IL).
